Catalog Exchange is the ability for the shopper to exchange their existing product with any other product across your entire store.
You can create product-specific recommendations if you utilize different Request Reasons for different products.
Go to Configure > Return Management >Exchanged > Catalog Exchange.
Here you will configure what shows up when a customer decides to exchange any item in the store. Only the product types and collections you allow here will be visible to the customer in the Catalog Exchange window.
One thing to keep in mind is that Return Rabbit is a complete mirror of your Shopify Store. Meaning, all your collections, product types, etc. that you have in Shopify will show up in Return Rabbit.
Add/Remove Product Types
To add or remove product types simply Check and Uncheck them. If you want to add a completely new product type you must do so in Shopify. Once it's been added, it will automatically show up in Return Rabbit.
Add/Remove Collections
Similar to Product Types, to add or remove Collections simply Check and Uncheck them. If you want to add a completely new Collection you must do so in Shopify. Once it's been added, it will automatically show up in Return Rabbit.
Add/Remove Product Based Restrictions
If you don't want certain products to be displayed in the Catalog Exchange you can exclude them with product-based tags. For example, you can leverage tags like Top, Final Sale, Clearance, etc.
These tags are created in Shopify and automatically sync to Return Rabbit.
Add/Remove Price-Based Restrictions
If you don't want certain products to be displayed in the Catalog Exchange that are below a certain price point, you can exclude them here. For example, you can set the threshold for $50 and everything in your store under $50 will not be shown.
Show/Hide Digital Products
At the very bottom of the page you'll have the ability to offer Digital Products like Gift Cards.
Simply toggle On or Off so they it can be displayed as an exchange option.
