Manage Users refers to the setting that will allow you to add, edit or create users with permissions.
Permissions on Return Rabbit are divided into two types of users:
-
Super User: A super user has access to everything across the portal. They can create new users, manage your billing plan, and edit user permissions. At least one super user is required at any given time in order to access the following settings:
-
Manage Users: Keeps track of users of your portal.
-
Manage Subscription: Keeps track of your Return Rabbit subscription.
-
Manage API Tokens: Houses the API keys that allow Return Rabbit to be integrated with different services.
Since only a super users has access to the information in the above settings, we suggest that you have at least two super users.
-
-
Admin User: An admin user is a non-super user that has access to the Admin portal. Admin users can see and resolve return requests. Non super users only have access to the parts of the portal for which they have been given permission.
-
You have the option to allow admin users access to the configure section which contains your rules and policies.
-
You can also give admin users access to Warehouse and Store portals.
-
In order to manage users in Return Rabbit, you must be logged in as a super user. Non super users will see the following when trying to access Settings.
The Manage Users screen shows you the users that you have on your portal and the permissions that they have. You also have the ability to add, edit, delete and to activate/deactivate a user from this screen. Let's take a look at how to add a new user.
-
Go to
Settings > Manage Users
. -
Click the Add User button.
The Create User screen will open.
-
Enter the First Name, Last Name, and E-mail Address for the new user.
-
(Optional) Check the Make this a super user box if this user will be a super user with access to all parts of the portal, including Settings. All permissions will be selected.
Otherwise, continue with step 5.
-
For non super users, check the box for each permission you wish to grant the user.
Orders & Service Requests
Orders and Service Request permissions can only be selected together. They cannot be selected individually.
-
Click Create User to save the user.
The new user will receive an e-mail with a link to set up their Return Rabbit password. Once they have added their password, they will be able to log in to Admin portal.
