Fees and Incentives

Fees and Incentives is the space where you can find all the monetary configurations that you can apply on Return Rabbit. All the fees and incentives can be found here.

Before we take a look at the fees & incentives, here are a few definitions:

  • Service Request: A service request is a request created by the shopper for one product (it could have multiple quantities of the same product). A service request can be either a return request or an exchange request.
  • Order Service: An order service is a collection of multiple service requests that a shopper has created together. A return order service is an order service that has only returns in them. An exchange order service is an order service that has one or more exchange service requests in it.

Fees:

Order Processing Fee:

Order processing fee is the fee that you can apply per order service or on each service request as a processing deduction. You can set the fee to be different in case of a return order service or an exchange order service. ****

To configure Order Processing Fee, click on the pencil icon. A modal will open up.

Unit Restocking Fee:

Unit restocking fee is the fee that can be applied per service request as a restocking deduction. You can set the fee to be different for a return request and an exchange request.

To configure the Unit Restocking Fee, click on the pencil icon. A modal will open up.

Payment Processing Fee:

Payment processing fee is the fee that you can apply whenever the shopper selects to get their refund into their Original Payment Method. This fees could be used to incentivize the use of gift cards by your shoppers.

The payment processing fee is connected to the Refund Method “Original Payment Method”. You can configure this by clicking on the link icon. It will open up the Payment Processing Fee configuration in a new tab.

Shipping Fees:

Shipping fees is the section that gives you the information on the fees that you have set up in your shipping section.

You can set up these fees based on the different shipping methods that you have active. You can have the following shipping methods:

  • In store returns: If you have a store and have in-store returns turned on, your shoppers will be able to return products to your store. You can choose to have different fees for return and exchange order services. To configure this fees, you can click on the link icon. It will take you to the In-store return configuration.

  • Self-managed Returns: This is the shipping method where your shoppers will send the products back to you on their own. You can choose to have different fees for return and exchange order services. To configure this fees, you can click on the link icon.

  • Send a Label: Send a label is the shipping method that will enable you to send shipping labels to your shoppers so that they can send the products back to you. There are two different types of Send Label methods, for Domestic Orders and for International Orders.

    • Domestic Orders: For domestic orders, we will charge this fees. To configure this fees, you can click on the link icon.

    • International Orders: For international orders, we will charge this fees. To configure this fees, you can click on the link icon.

Incentives:

You can configure these incentives to apply whenever certain conditions are met. Let’s take a look at each of these incentives one by one.

Payment Waive Off:

Payment waive off can be applied only once per order service. You can set a particular amount in this incentive. If the shopper has to pay any mount below that threshold, it will be waived off.

Bonus Cash Incentive:

Bonus cash incentive applies when there is a higher order exchange. You can set a Percentage amount, or a fixed amount, that the shopper will get when exchanging with a more expensive item.

Discount Forwarding:

Discount forwarding applies on the products that were purchased with a discount. If turned on, the shopper will get the same discount applied on their new exchange item.

Gift Card Incentive:

Gift card incentive applies when a shopper has to get a refund. You can set this up so that if the shopper chooses a gift card, they will get some extra amount, either fixed or percentage.
